Hi, friends!

I’m Taylor A., author of Beneath A Broken Sky, and I wanted to officially welcome you to my website and introduce myself a little more personally.

I’m from Virginia, where I live with my husband of 13 years, our three kids, and our animals — including our dogs and horse. When I’m not writing, you can usually find me outside soaking up fresh air, hiking, taking photos, or working behind the scenes creating social media content for local businesses. I’m also heavily involved in my church, where I help manage digital media and tech.

But writing? Writing became something deeply personal for me.

As a mom, especially to a daughter who loves to read, I noticed how difficult it could be to find young adult books that balanced exciting storytelling with clean romance and strong faith themes. I wanted stories that still had all the emotional tension and addictive tropes readers love — love triangles, second chances, found family, suspense, heartbreak, hope — while also creating characters and relationships readers could truly connect with.

That’s what inspired me to begin writing YA fiction.

My debut novel, Beneath A Broken Sky, is Book One in The New America Series, a faith-based dystopian story about survival, secrets, trust, and holding onto hope when the world feels like it’s falling apart. This series has become incredibly special to me, and I’m already hard at work on Book Two, which I’m hoping to release later this year.

I’m also currently writing another project, Lucky Penny, a story centered on grief, second chances, healing, and learning to hold on to faith when life feels uncertain and broken.

More than anything, I hope my stories leave readers feeling something long after they finish the final page.
